Wind Mill

This is a music video for a band called DEATH! to the Doomriders. The song is called ‘Wind Mill’. Since everyone here checking out this site are such big fans of ours, we’ll let you in on the true secret to the video:

This video was discovered on a VHS cassette of ‘Beat the Devil’ in a garage sale in an Alaskan port city named Riocha. Once it was found that the cassette contained a music video in the middle of the movie, the woman running the sale was contacted and asked about its origins. She said that she’d never watched it herself, that it had been a possession of her recently deceased father who had acquired it while he was a homeless alcoholic in New Orleans in 1971. Someone had left it for him as a tip in his hat while he begged for change. He always urged her to watch it, but she’d never taken his advice due to the sad memories it might conjure from that period in her life. The cassette was purchased at the sale for 5 cents.

We’re posting it here on this site because the video has but one single credit aside from the band and song name. There is a director credit which is given to ‘Daniel Hayden’. Since this original Daniel Hayden hasn’t been found in our last four months of attempted contact, we thought it appropriate to post it to our site and take credit. Perhaps bringing it to light will force the man out of hiding. We hope you enjoy.

We also stumbled on this at the end of the cassette. It appears to be some kind of schematic outlining the video. It’s animated still images of what became the video. At least we can only assume that that’s what it is:
